Launching an iconic new rental model for Levi's using NFC connected clothing

Levi's

Fashion brand GANNI teamed up with Levi’s and SharpEnd to launch a unique rental-only collaboration. The collaboration incorporated connected clothing as a key activation point for ongoing engagement. By tapping the NFC-enabled back pack on each garment the user is taken through to a digital experience full of content that helps you get the most from the product.

This collection celebrates a new type of ‘worn by many, owned by none’ approach and the community of conscious fashion lovers. Tapping the back patch allows renters to access the digital community, leave love letter messages to one another, access style tips from influencers, and see behind-the-scenes footage of the collection and its production story.

Leveraging the io.tt platform, each piece in this collection is uniquely identifiable, enabling each piece to carry it's own story, made accessible only via the custom-designed NFC-enabled backpatch.
